Left chest logo digitizing / embroidery is an ideal and most popular location for designers to use in the business of embroidery after hat logo . This is the location where corporate logos, organization logos, and school logos, amongst many other types of logos, are digitized and converted into machine embroidery files, which are then placed on the left side of the shirt. It is possible for it to be sewn on the right side of the shirt although this is not the typical or common placement, but its fine you are free to do it if you prefer. This spot is always very classic, and it’s where you should put your company logo on shirts for employees, staff for an event, or just about anything else. Left chest logo digitizing is used more than hat logo or back logo digitizing because of where it is and how easy it is to embroider.
Design Evaluation
No matter what kind of logo you’re getting digitized, evaluating the design is always a very important and essential part of the process. First, our Digitizers check to see if this design fits the customer’s size requirements. If it doesn’t, we ask the customer to make the logo bigger so we can see as much detail as possible. If not, small details might not be digitized, so we always let them know before we digitize.
Left chest logo size and Placement
Usually, logos on the left chest are 3.5″ to 4″ wide and about 3″ below the collar.
It always looks perfect there because the placement can be changed a bit to fit the size of the shirt. It’s possible to sew it on the right side of the shirt too, but that’s not how most people do it. If that’s what you want to do, though, that’s fine. The only problem with the left chest place is that you can’t put a lot of details there. You should avoid designs with a lot of details because people won’t be able to see them. So keep it simple. Our Art Department can help you with this and can make your logo simpler if it needs to be. Most of the time, there is no extra cost.
Standard Size 3.5 x 3.5
Smaller size 2.5 X 2.5
Large Size 4.5 x 4.5
(Note: Depending on the design details, the height and width may vary, however neither side should be larger than 4.5 inches.)
